Courier quality isn't a single number. A carrier with a great national reputation can have a 78% first-attempt rate on a specific Tier-3 lane while a smaller player hits 94% there.
What actually predicts success
- First-attempt delivery rate on the exact origin→destination lane
- Performance by weight band and payment type (COD vs prepaid)
- Historical RTO and NDR rates for that pincode
Make the decision explainable
A recommendation you can't interrogate is just pay-to-rank in disguise. Insist on seeing why a courier was suggested — lane performance and your own history — not a black box.
